CATASAUQUA EDUCATION NON-PROFIT, ESSENTIAL LEARNING INSTITUTE AND BRIDGEWAY ACADEMY, NAMED STEVIE® AWARD FINALIST

Hope Package Nominated for Best New Product or Service Of The Year

CATASAUQUA, PA – October 10, 2014– Essential Learning Institute in partnership with Bridgeway Academy is proud to announce that the non-profit’s HOPE Package has been named a finalist in the 11th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. On November 14, Essential Learning Institute and Bridgeway Academy will be awarded a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie Award for the Best New Product or Service of the Year.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.

Based in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania the educational non-profit’s HOPE Package, an individualized curriculum designed to build new neuro-pathways within the brain combined with a customized learning therapy program, was nominated and named a finalist from among more than 1,200 entries in over 90 categories.

“The number of students diagnosed with some form of Learning Disability has skyrocketed the past few years. Homeschooling children with learning struggles can be challenging and lonely for parents. HOPE provides the academic curriculum as well as the therapeutic support parents need to help children succeed,” said Amy Highland, Director of Student Services, Essential Learning Institute. “We are honored to have been selected to receive this prestigious award and believe it will generate awareness for issue.”

Finalists were chosen by more than 100 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.  Members of five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging October 20-29. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 14.  Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S.A and several other countries are expected to attend.   The event will be broadcast live on radio in the U.S.A. (and simulcast worldwide) by Biz Talk Radio and taped for a later television broadcast.
